Since my first pregnancy I've had hip problems. Since I was pregnant or nursing for 5 straight years it was sort of hard to tell whether it was pregnancy related but my baby is now SIX! and the hip problems remain so I guess that answers that question.
Now I sleep with a small pillow between my knees and that really seems to help.
Anyway, the other night my husband and I were crawling into bed and his stomach growled. "I actually don't feel that hungry." I told him. But then admitted, "Of course I think I ate my weight in almonds today."
"That's A LOT of almonds." he said OBVIOUSLY without thinking.
He apparently wasn't looking either because he seemed COMPLETELY caught off guard when I whacked him in the face with my little pillow.
he totally asked for it.
I keep a miniature baseball bat beside the bed -- hubby thinks it's for intruders, since he works a lot of nights. He doesn't know it's actual name is "snake bat". ;)

Was the little pillow still between your legs when you smacked him with it?

My wife has hip issues from time to time too. (I think those might be pregnancy related also.) She often uses a body pillow. As a bonus, if your husband makes any "weight in almonds" cracks again, a body pillow has a lot more mass to smack against him. ;-)
