When the Mechatar arrived at my house, the boys immediately asked me, "What's in the box?" When I responded, "a Mechatar" they almost jumped our of their skin. They were SO excited.
They had football during the week so I made them wait until the weekend. This was the experience in their own words:
7 yo
I was so excited to open the Mechatar that I kept asking my dad and, by accident, I got sent to my room.
After 5 minutes, I came down and I was the first one to play with it online and I beat 9 players. It was very fun because I got THREE badges and the battles were great. I really liked the battles because I got to play against my own self and I beat him. When you shoot novos assault and magmos blitz it bounces back at you. When I played with the Mechatar and the remote it was awesome. I liked the guns and when it roared.
9 yo
It is very awesome, there is just one thing. It needs longer battery life and more ways to turn and can you send us another one please, my friends really like mine. And can you make a Mechatar tv show? Anyway, it was awesome.
Mom
I liked the Mechatars because it got the kids involved right away by being an easy-to-use remote controlled toy that didn't require them to sit in front of the computer. However, when they were ready to sit still it gave them them the opportunity to use strategy to advance the game. The Mechatar was a huge success in my house.

Kodar sounds most like my oldest son who is 10 and Alpha sounds like my second son who is almost 9! I have never heard of these before either, will have to do some research. Thanks.
