There's a line in The Devil Wears Prada where a character says, "I'm just one stomach flu away from my goal weight!" (or something like that.) I think of that whenever one of us gets sick.

I just got over a stomach bug in which I lost 5 pounds. The bad news is I'm pregnant so losing that weight should be considered a bad thing. *sigh* I guess I'm just in no hurry to gain 40 pounds.

I do agree with all the ladies above and I love that line from the Devil Wears Prada... So true. I suppose there is a silver lining for everything ;)

A stomach flu is a great cleanse and waaaay cheaper than a stay at a spa. Less pleasant... but as effective.

Strep throat is a great diet. I couldn't even swallow my spit. Unfortunately my doctor made me take the antibiotics.
