Last week's sex homework was to choose an innocuous word in your vocabulary and turn it into a trigger for erotic thoughts. My husband and I chose the word 'water' and while the word itself didn't ignite while hot passion - the way that we tossed it around suggestively in front of the children did.
The fact that we could discuss sex in the kitchen made us bold. We pressed against each other as we prepared dinner - rubbing up against each other as I took the milk out of the fridge or bending over suggestively to empty the dishwasher, etc.
The flirting was fun, exciting, playful. The word 'water' reminded us to include flirting in our busy days. The only downside was that because the flirting was so public, we got ourselves worked up when we had no opportunity to satisfy the urges. I may have gotten a little frustrated. I suppose that was part of the point but I didn't care for it. ;)
The tension built and eventually we answered the call, dousing the passion with, y'know, WATER.
If you didn't try it, I would encourage you to give it a shot. Sometimes we get SO frenetic that we forget to stop and hug or kiss or grind our bottoms into our husband's crotch while making mac and cheese.
Love,
Kit
I didn't designate a word, but every time I cook supper my husband makes sure to grope and grind. He says my hands are full so I can't stop him!
