On the plus side, this week has FLOWN. On the downside, I haven't had any sex this week - what with the residual ovarian pain and poison ivy and all. Well, not with my HUSBAND. If you count Carmen Electra I'm still below average but above 0. She's a doll like that.
Well, not a doll - a bullet really. Speaking of bullets, my son has really been into The Revolutionary War lately and the other day he drew a picture and said, "Look mom, this guy has a mini-bullet." and I wanted to say "me too." but had no idea how I'd explain it so I said nothing. It's hard being deviant when you're a mom.
In other news, my lip is mostly healed, my poison ivy seems to be on the mend and I am on VACATION next week.
Oh, don't get your knickers in a twist, I've pre-blogged for you ALL WEEK - INCLUDING a FABULOUS progressive post with the BEAUTIFL Blair at www.theheirtoblair.com and Sarah at www.anonymous8.com.
It's going to be Fabulous.
Just like this week was.
On the post, A 4th of July Story:
You know what's good with coffee icecream? Maltesers.
Do you have those? You should... they were made for coffee icecream. In my mind anyway.
p.s. we all make sacrifices for the things we love. Lips grow back.

Kit: Tonight I sent the kids to bed without dessert because there was only 1 scoop of icecream left. Is that wrong?
I got stuck to a popsicle one time. During class.

Kit: What kind of class were you in?
This happened to the Pioneer woman before she went on TV to promote her book. You both must really really really love coffee ice cream.

Kit: Wow, way to make me feel like a moron because I read her blog and should have learned my lesson. Who am I kidding, I licked the scoop again tonight. I CANT HELP IT!
That was pretty awesome I'm gonna think twice before licking the spoon (i'll still lick it...just be thinking of you while I do so!)

Kit: That sounds fabulously dirty.
On the post, The Bad Egg, Part 1:
19 Amazing comments on this post - so supportive and informative - you can read them here. Also, two people contacted me to thank me for posting this and telling me that they've had symptoms similar to mine and that they would ask their doctor to investigate further. I'm not particularly shy but am also not much for posting personal drama (unless it's funny) so thanks for putting up with this one and potentially helping people.
On the post, The Bad Egg, Part 2:
Your 7yo obviously makes people laugh and has a solid grasp of euphemisms. When is getting a Twitter account?

Kit: How funny would it be if I tried to make a mint with "Stuff my kid says!" Wait, that's kind of what I'm doing.
Brilliant!
Reminds me of the time my oldest kid brother trotted up to me half-nekkid and snootily inquired:
"Do YOU gots these?"

Kit: I hope that, years later, when your breasts had developed you returned the favor.
I'll see you all tonight at the #wineparty. If you can't make it I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC weekend. It's supposed to rain here - of course, because construction on my beach house is almost finished! We're heading into the White Mountains (NH) next week to go camping. Me, the husband, the 4 kids and several thousand bears. AWESOME. Hopefully I'll have some great stories of unbridled BEAR HUGS for you next week.
Don't forget to Follow Me on Facebook. I'm hoping to be better about posting there and then you can "Like" my posts and share them with all of your friends (pretty please with a cherry on top.) Thank you.
Love,
Kit

Didn't you think of creating a journal based on your blog (many people already do so - have a look at their experience at http://www.pdfspirit.com/covest-pe the search engine on pdf periodical)? In comparison with the blog, journal is more convenient to read :)
