Friday was my ten year anniversary.
To celebrate we went to football practice and dodged EEE infected mosquitoes.
This is completely true.
But it's not ALL we did.
On Saturday we got up at the CRACK OF DAWN to go to my sons' football game.
Really, we know how to celebrate.
But when the game was over I took the boys to the store to buy Scally Caps. They look so cute in them. Good thing, they haven't taken them off since.
I had also ordered "tuxedo t-shirts" for them.
So we went home and everyone got dressed up and we went to the florist and picked up boutonnieres, corsages and a bouquet and we went to the beach and my husband and I renewed our vows.
My 10yo son officiated and asked us, "Do you take this man/woman..."
My daughter was my maid of honor and held on tight to Daddy's wedding ring until it was time for me to put it back on his hand.
My younger son did the same thing with my wedding ring.
My younger daughter was the flower girl and she took photos.
And we had fun telling everyone that we were getting married.
Then we went out to dinner and SEVERAL people stopped by our table to tell us that we had the best dressed family in the restaurant and to ask us what the occasion was (because everyone was still wearing their bouttonieres and corsages.)
If you're looking for something to do with the family some weekend - I highly recommend getting remarried!
